Air Fryer Tofu Steaks
Ingredients
- 1 block extra firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1 heaping tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup Hoisin sauce
Optional garnishes
- 1 thinly sliced green onion
- sesame seeds
Instructions
- Start by slicing the tofu into 10 equal slices.
- Add tofu into a large bowl and toss with cornstarch and soy sauce until the pieces are evenly coated.
- Air fry at 390 for 9-10 mins, flipping halfway. (OR pan fry with a little oil for 3-5 minutes per side.)
- Add the cooked tofu into a bowl and toss with hoisin sauce to combine.
- Serve with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and green onions, and cut into bite sized strips if desired. Enjoy!
