Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup dry TVP: textured vegetable protein
  • 1 cup vegan chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, make the marinade by whisking together the chickenless broth, soy sauce (or tamari for GF), garlic powder, onion powder, and nutritional yeast.
  • Add the dry TVP into the marinade, stir to combine, and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  • In a skillet on medium heat, add 1-2 tbsp of olive oil, then add the TVP ground "chicken" mixture.
  • Sauté for about 5-8 minutes or until lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve, and enjoy!
