Ingredients
  

Vegan Chicken Salt

  • 6 tbsp table salt
  • 3 tbsp vegan powdered chicken stock (if you can't find this ingredient see below on how to make your own)
  • 3 tbsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp celery seeds
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make your powdered vegetable broth into "chicken" broth

  • 3 tbsp powdered vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • ¼-½ tsp poultry seasoning (start with ¼ tsp and adjust to taste if needed)
  • pinch of turmeric for color (optional)

Instructions
 

Making the "Chicken" broth

  • In a medium mason jar or small mixing bowl, add powdered vegetable broth, nutritional yeast, poultry seasoning, and a pinch of turmeric. Whisk to combine.

Making the Chicken Salt

  • In the same jar, add table salt, garlic powder, sweet paprika, onion powder, celery seeds and pepper. Place the lid securely on the jar, and shake thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  • Serve this on top of french fries (chips) or on your favourite vegan meat substitute, like vegan fried chicken. Enjoy!
