Ingredients
  

  • 1 200g pack of tempeh
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds (If you don't have fennel, use Italian seasoning)
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • ¼ tsp poultry seasoning (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil on a pan in medium heat. (This is extra delicious cooked in a cast iron pan)
  • Using clean hands, crumble up the tempeh and add directly into the pan.
  • Next, add in fennel seeds, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, allspice and poultry spice. Cook for about 1 min stirring constantly.
  • Add in soy sauce, and continue cooking until the tempeh pieces and crispy and golden on the outside. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy!
