Ingredients

Pizza:

  • 2 packages of ready-made pizza dough (or see notes to make your own)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1-1½ cups grated mozzarella cheese (use vegan if desired)

Toppings (get creative!):

  • Sliced black olives (for spiders or bats)
  • 4-6 small mushrooms, sliced (cut into skull shapes for a spooky look)
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (for monster eyes!)
  • Cherry tomatoes (for creepy pops of color)
  • mini pepperoni, bell peppers, or onion slices

Instructions

Prepping the Dough

  • Preheat your oven according to your pizza dough package directions.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out your dough and shape it however you like — think ghosts, pumpkins, mummies, or bats!
Re-roll any leftover dough to make mini shapes like skulls or spooky fingers.

Decorating the Pizza

  • Brush the edges with olive oil for a golden crust.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the base, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Now the fun part — decorate your pizza!
Use mushrooms carved into skulls, black olive spiders, jalapeño monster eyes, and whatever spooky shapes you dream up.
Add toppings creatively — there’s no wrong way to do Halloween pizza!

Baking

  • Bake according to your dough’s instructions until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Let cool slightly, then add basil leaves or any final garnish.
Serve warm — ideally while watching Hocus Pocus for ultimate Halloween vibes!
