1CupCrushed IceAdd To Martini Glass before you start to Chill the Glass.
Instructions
Prep Work
Bring out all the ingredients
Add ice to the martini glass (This will help chill the glass while we work on putting the drinnk together)
Cut the fresh lime into small wedges.
Cosmo Martini Mixture
Grab your martini shaker and add in the 1 ½ oz. of vodka. (You can leave your vodka in the freezer the night prior for maximum chill).
Next, add in your ¾ oz. of Cointreau.
Add in ¼ oz. of fresh lime juice. (be careful to be accurate as if you add too much it can be too sour!)
Now time to add the 1 ½ oz. of cranberry juice.
Mixing Time
Remove the ice from the martini glass (The martini glass will be nice and chilled at this point). Add the ice to your martini shaker. TIP: Drain off any water from the ice, before adding to the martini shaker.
Shake thoroughly for 10 seconds in the martini shaker! (This can feel like a long time at the moment).
After shaken, pour it into the chilled martini glass.
At this point, I like to add one small squeeze from a lime wedge into the cosmo (be carful to not add too much).
Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel. Serve & Enjoy!

Notes
Note that since we are working with such small quantities of ingredients try to be as accurate as possible. Also Fresh lime makes a huge difference. Make sure you select a lime that is the perfect ripeness. If you buy a bag and the limes are too fresh you can leave it in your fridge or on the countertop to ripen to perfection.Use 100% cranberry juice. NOT cranberry cocktail juice.
