Whip up a batch of Homemade Blueberry Chia Jam using fresh or frozen blueberries, chia seeds, and a hint of lemon juice for a delightful and nutritious spread.
In a saucepan on medium heat, add blueberries, allow them to heat up and gently mash them to your desired consistency.
Next, add your lemon juice, chia seeds, and maple syrup. Cook on medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes until everything is combined and heated through.
Allow to cool for at least 5 mins, this jam will thicken quite a bit as it cools.
Stir the jam, then add into a mason jar with a lid, and store in the fridge up to 1 week or the freezer for up to 3 months. It's best when fresh out of the fridge. Enjoy!
